The reclining seat offers head and back support and allows your child to rest comfortably in their carrycot or seat. Claire loved the large shopping basket that is easily accessible from the seat or carrycot at any angle. It can hold the entire nappies pack as well as a change bag.

The Xplory X premium pram is available from Stokke. It is suitable for babies from birth. It includes the chassis, a pushchair seat and a lie-flat carrycot. However, other extras like the rain cover need to be purchased separately. The only issue is the price - although it's cheaper than other 2 in 1 prams it still costs more than PS1,000 for the full kit. It's more difficult to swallow when there are cheaper alternatives, such as the Thule spring, which is more compact and lighter.

The durability of Thule's strollers is legendary, and I've seen them tested at the Thule Hillerstop headquarters in Sweden. They drop prams from high places and then slam them down slopes, and then take them on bumpy tracks in the snow to test their performance and endurance. They certainly look good!
