Cheap single pushchair single stroller with standing board Pushchairs

If you're on a budget and don't require a stroller that can double into a car seat carrier, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It comes with a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's easy to push, and it feels solid when you are navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation as the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for city dwellers as well for jet-setters. This is due to its super nimble maneuverability and fold-down design that can be incorporated into the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. This latest version boasts independent suspension on all four wheels, made of Hytrel elastomer to 'perfectly navigate across all types of surfaces and terrain'.

The bent fabric bassinet, the base YOYO2 and the 6months of colour pack come together to create a stylish pushchair with a subtle, elegant aesthetic. The base frame weighs less than a kilo, and is so lightweight that you can lift it from the box with just one hand.

The hood, as an example is able to snap onto the YOYO2 with a reassuring manner. It is machine washable up to 30 degrees which helps prevent stains caused by smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. It can be used as a pram from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted into a stroller after 6 months using the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore single pro stroller wagon is a great choice for parents who are looking for a versatile single stroller. It transforms from a stroller into a wagon by simply turning the handle, so parents can choose the option they want to use on their adventure. The wagon can accommodate one or two children from 6 months to five years old. It has a large storage basket that will hold everything you need while on the go.

The Xplore also has two canopies that move from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This may not be suitable for long journeys or naps.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid, although it does not have as much flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competitors and it doesn't lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and it can fit through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored well in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put in a trunk of a car. It also comes with the option of reclining in multiple positions and a parent cup holder. Other features worth mentioning include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our test of push and turn, it did better than the majority of other cheap single pushchair strollers we tested, but it's still not the easiest to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

It took us under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta with a standard manual. None of the parts required tools. However, it is missing some critical features we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller, for example, a larger basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is billed as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth to around 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be easily converted with a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in-car-base and a reversible car seat.

The seat can be reclined using one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to help their child in and out. Despite being a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps with ease and went through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position and can also pivot. This is helpful for navigating through rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel during our walk on the stony path. It was able to handle this well, even though it felt to be a bit more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most famous for its three-wheeled, all-terrain strollers for jogging. However, they also produce a wide variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to use and folds up small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we've test, but since it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains and even with two kids as well as a shopping bag and other items.

Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that are able to be lower to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space but it has a large, deep basket to hold a changing bag or plenty of groceries. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to use a stroller on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a best single stroller that captured the hearts of a lot of parents when it first debuted. It is an aluminium-framed stroller which can be used from the infant's earliest days through. It is a standout model with many unique features, such as the ability of the seat to be flipped between the parent and the world and a huge UPF50+ canopy with a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis comes with a suspension system built-in that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made from tough foam and minimise punctures. It was simple to push and our tester was able to maneuver the vehicle through tight streets.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It also stands and can be trolleyed for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes ready with the option to include a car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that come with it. The brakes are only one action and are colour coded. They also work with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and comes with an excellent dual suspension. It folds using just one hand, and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also very light and robust. The seat can be reclined in many positions and is equipped with a double-breathable mattress that can be used from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't great because it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be facing each other or turn around and face the parents, theoretically decreasing sibling fights over who sits with mom and dad. It has a huge bottle holder, a gear tray, snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also has an automatic frame lock and a superior compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger that's ideal for parents who like to stay active. It is one of the lightest strollers for running that you can buy your child. It also has great safety features, including a 5-point safety harness as well as a wrist safety strap. It comes with a different kind of hand brake than other models, which is an innovative twist.

The seat is well-padded and has plenty of room to sit in, but the depth of the seat is less than other joggers that we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is secured with a zipper that keeps things safe. It can hold up to 10lbs which is sufficient for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets as of yet, but you can use it right from the start with the purchase of adapters for the majority of seats made by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds up compactly and takes about 5-10 minutes to assemble with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and comes in a variety of languages.
