However, it was unable to getting into narrow corners and recessed high-pile areas. It's also more maneuverable and the filtering system does an excellent job of capturing allergens. The straight suction floorhead of the bagless sleek vacuum is small for large or heavy debris. It also has other minor issues that include its lack of sophisticated features and a limited remote control capabilities. Eureka Q5 Pro, despite its limitations, is a great alternative for those seeking a basic robot vacuum that can mop.

3. SwitchBot K10 Plus

If you're looking for a smart vacuum cleaner with the ability to also mop, the SwitchBot K10 Plus is an excellent option. The small robot has a small size which allows it to fit into tight spaces such as corners and under furniture that larger robots cannot reach. It also has a sophisticated LiDAR sensor that can recognize obstacles and avoid collisions.

During our tests the K10 Plus vacuumed up pet hair, crumbs and other debris quickly and efficiently from our carpet. It also did a great job of squeezing into tight spaces such as under our bed or around the chair's legs. In addition to vacuuming, it can perform mopping tasks using a separate cloth or wet wipe. There's a small set of wet wipes included with the K10 Plus to get you up and running.

The application for the K10 Plus is intuitive and straightforward to use. It comes with a variety of options for customization that include setting a date when the machine will not be disturbed, altering its map layout or setting a timer of when it should clean. The app monitors the life expectancy of accessories like the side brush, sensor, and bin filter. This helps you know when it's time to replace them.

The K10 Plus's battery life is decent too. After a full charge we could get three hours of cleaning. It also recharges quickly. It releases dirt into a bin that is located inside the base station when it's finished. It can be quite loud, but not as loud compared to other robot vacuums we've tested.

It will still leave dust in these areas if you do not spin the corner brush in a fast enough manner. However its powerful motor makes up for it.

In the tests conducted by iRobot, the S9+ was able to remove kitty litter and pet hair with ease. It also performed exceptionally on hard floors, where its powerful motor was able to get through all types of flooring as well as corners and edges easily. Its advanced vSLAM technology and Imprint Smart Mapping made it one of the top navigators we have. It can find its way under sofas and beds with valances draped over them.

The iRobot App makes it easy to set up and use. You can choose which functions you'd like to activate when setting up the robot, or you can wait until you've got a feel for it. The only issue with the S8 is that its battery doesn't last as long as it should allow for, with only 130 minutes of usage when I left it on its default settings with both vacuuming and mopping enabled. This is still a long time and was enough to clean my apartment.
