It did better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. Despite being a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps with ease and was able to pass through doorways without a hitch.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position or swivel. This is useful for navigating through rough terrain. We let the front wheels to rotate on our walk along a stony path. It was able to handle this well, though it did seem slightly more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain strollers for jogging. But they also manufacture a vast variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is easy to fold and fits easily into the boot of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It's a bit heavier than the other strollers we tried, however the wheels are made of rubber composite so it feels well-made and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two kids as well as a shopping bag and other things.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are water-resistant and durable unlike other pram hoods that get bounced back into toddlers faces.
