3 Wheel Buggies

Tyres

The tyres for 3 wheeled pushchairs wheel buggies are offered in a variety of styles and types of materials. Each one has its own pros and cons. For instance, tyres that are filled with air provide a comfortable ride and manoeuvrability, while foam-filled tyres last longer. The type you choose will be based on your personal preferences and the location you live in.

The Roma Atlas is another popular off-road model and, similar to the Urban Glide 2, comes in a range of colours to suit your style. It also has an adjustable handlebar and a spacious basket. You can also choose from a selection of infant car seats to convert the buggy into a pram, such as the stylishly designed carrycot plus(tm) which is a comfy lie-flat crib for babies and infants up to 12 months old.

Safety

Four wheels make the buggy more stable and less likely to tip over and easier to maneuver. It can also be more secure for your baby since their weight is distributed more evenly across the frame of the pushchair.

A four-wheeled buggy has a lower center of gravity, making it easier to get over curbs and walk up. The seat made of fabric is within the frame, not sitting on top like modular seats. This creates a low seating position, and a lighter buggy that is more easily maneuvered.

If you're looking to go for a run with your baby then a 4-wheeler might be more suitable as it will have suspension that allows the front wheel to move independently of the back wheel so you can tackle bumpy roads and rough terrain Be aware that not all 4 wheel buggies are suitable for running (most aren't like the Phil and Teds). The exception is Mountain Buggies which have a specially designed suspension system that has been tested independently across all types of terrain.
