Inside the fridge, you'll find 17 shelves and compartments. The refrigerator compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is standard for a French-door refrigerator at this price. It comes with a decent size freezer in the left side. However it's not the most spacious one I've seen.

The LED lighting is an attractive accent. The bins for storage inside include a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall objects. They're easy to open and close, however I found their textured plastic coatings to be a bit hard on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the complete set of features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range that includes Wi-Fi as well as app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your fridge from anywhere in the world, and it has many options for customizing. It will also send you notifications when the door is unlocked and when the freezer or fridge needs to be defrosted, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS came with Precise Fill, an option available in other GE fridges that allows you to preset how many cups of water you'd like to pour out at once. The fridge shows a countdown to reveal how much water is left, but it's not as effective as Precise fill.

The Ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and makes the shape of a pyramid using only water. This fridge is ideal for a small household or a kitchenette that wants an attractive design and top of the line food preservation.

The fridge was rated the best refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for several reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0°F and never fluctuated more than a tiny fraction - this is crucial to prevent the risk of a freezer burn. The fridge's refrigerator section also performed well, achieving the desired initial set temperature within an hour and keeping the temperature constant over the course of our testing.

Bosch has a reputation for high-end appliances and appliances, so it's not a surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance that has the option of connecting to your home Wi-Fi network and Bosch's Home Connect platform. It is important to know the limitations of your fridge. It is possible to be inventive with tall items since the fridge has a limited shelf space. There's also a full-width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

This refrigerator has a freezer with an ice maker, making it easy to move the ice when needed. The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, for instance, sliding drawers that help better organize the position of your items. It has a large bin for storing frozen food, and a separate container for ice.

Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can control the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's a good way to control and monitor your refrigerator, especially when you're away from home.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those who want to combine the look and feel of a French-door refrigerator with more efficient design. It has a capacity that is above average for counter-depth models and is able to cool evenly. It's also a bit less than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which helps make it a popular choice.

If you're looking for a French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune this Frigidaire is a solid option. It's a basic refrigerator that may not be as attractive as its rivals however, it does have enough features to make it a suitable choice. Temperatures at the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary significantly from 38 degrees, and the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a solid performance, but it doesn't quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer for more precise measurements of your fridge's internal temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge resistant" finish. It does an excellent job of removing streaks and fingerprints even when compared with glossy stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
