Insert the new battery into the socket after the older one is removed. Make sure that the positive side is facing up and that it's seated within all clips. Then slide the cover back down and toward the key-ring loop section until it becomes loose and slips off. Then, remove the cover to reveal the hidden mechanical key blade.
