3 wheeler strollers Wheel All Terrain Pushchair

A pushchair that is all-terrain with great maneuverability will be perfect whether you are seeking a stroller for nature walks or an excursion on the main street. These types of models are typically equipped with large wheels and a suspension system that provides an easy ride on bumpy terrain.

Many are suitable for babies and include a seat that can be positioned in a flat position or a carrycot for newborns. These vehicles also have tyres that never flatten, which are typically comprised from foam.

Seat

There's a variety of three-wheel all terrain pushchairs to choose from that offer excellent off-road performance. They are great if you reside in the countryside or regularly go walking on uneven, rough ground. They are typically more durable and sturdy than a regular pushchair, and come with features like large puncture-proof wheels to withstand the toughest of surfaces. They are usually quite large, which means they may be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces or aisles in shops.

All-terrain buggy seats are placed either in the direction of parents or world facing. They will grow with your child from birth to toddler. It's fitted with foam-filled 'never flat' tyres that provide an easy ride, dual frame suspension and luxurious padding in the seat that provides superb postural support and comfort. A lot of all-terrain pushchairs do not have seats that can be reversible, however the models like the Oyster 3 wheel baby Buggy, Venicci Tinum and egg 2 do have this option, and both provide a very good level of off-road capability and an adequate weight limit for a 2 year old. There are many pushchairs that are classed as all-rounders, like the iCandy Pear and Bugaboo Cameleon, which cope very well with the rough terrain of the park or National Trust places but don't have quite the off-road capability of genuine all-terrain pushchairs.

There are also crossover models which are a fantastic compromise between extreme off-road and street and offer excellent all-terrain capabilities with large wheels and a great suspension, but they're designed in a typical pushchair style, with reversible seats and the option of a full carrycot, so they can be used on a daily basis. The best models are manufactured by companies such as iCandy Easywalker and Bugaboo.

Wheels

If you live in a rural area or take your child regularly for walks on rough terrain an all-terrain pushchair becomes essential. These models have larger wheels on the back than regular pushchairs, which allows them to withstand rough terrain better and provide the most comfortable ride for your child. They also have sturdy suspension and puncture-proof versions so that they're suitable for use on woodland, grass or paths through the forest or gravel tracks, as well as market town cobbles.

Certain all-terrain strollers also come with a lockable wheel at the front, which gives extra stability when walking over rough terrain or over high kerbs. Some models have swivel wheels at the front that allow you to move the buggy with ease when you need to change direction or turn corners.

If you intend to use your all terrain pushchair for occasional jogging ensure that the front wheel can be swivelable or has a quick-release feature so it can lock in place for more stability.

It is important to verify that the fabric of the pushchair is machine washed to maintain them in perfect condition. If not, a spot clean with warm water and a little of gentle soap should suffice. The fabric can be dried thoroughly outside to prevent mould or mildew.

The majority of our three wheeled all terrain pushchairs can be used from birth. Find models with an all-flat seat that is fully lie-flat and a reversible rearrest that will allow you to use it from newborn all the way to when your child is about three years old. Some are compatible with car seat adapters if you're traveling as a three wheeled buggies-person family.
