3 Wheeled Buggies

A 3-wheel buggy is used for off-road walking and for traversing terrains such as bumpy pavements or woodland tracks. They are also more easy to maneuver up and down kerbs than 4-wheel models.

Stability

With four wheels and a central point of gravity that's balanced by weight of your child in the seat, buggies with four wheels are generally considered to be more stable than 3 wheel infant stroller-wheelers. Three-wheel buggies are worthwhile to consider as they are able to handle anything from rough terrain to busy streets.

For a buggy that's easy to handle and will not be a problem on bumpy pavements, look for one with large rear wheels and a lockable front wheel.
