Path of Exile Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a common and essential way to boost the performance of a variety of items in Path of Exile. They can be a great source of extra damage, more AD or even more affixes.

Sometimes, however, upgraded Common and Magic gear is outclassed by Rare-grade gear due to their high requirements.

Armor

Armor upgrades can be applied to both weapon and armor items. They increase the performance of the item upgrader kit they are attached to. Armor upgrades are available in the world of the game and are available from Blacksmiths on bonfires. They can also be salvaged using a specialist or higher salvage kits to recover upgrades from the items.

The level of an armor's or weapon's upgrade determines the amount of damage it is able to absorb. Upgrading a piece of armor to maximum upgrade level will increase its ability to absorb damage. But, it's important to be aware that this upgrade will increase its weight, which will cause it to weigh more than it was before.

There are several different types of armor upgrade available in the game. Each one has a distinct impact. For instance, certain upgrades will grant the armor a certain amount of additional health points, while others make it lighter and stronger. Weapons

Weapon upgrades give players to enhance certain aspects of their weapon. For instance an upgrade could improve the damage that is caused by a shotgun's shells or the accuracy of a rifle that snipes. To level up faster, most players will be more inclined to upgrade their weapons. Jewels

The Jeweler can enhance the quality of gemstones in stages ranging from Crude up to Royal. The stat boosts will vary depending on the tier the jewel is at when it is inserted into jewelry, weapons or equipment.

All tiers of jewels can be made at the Jeweler, with the exception of the rare and legendary gems that require you to be at a certain level to be able to get the privilege of having them. Jewels can be replaced by another jewel without damaging the original. However, you can only replace a jewel in a piece of equipment only once.

Utilizing more jewels in a movement will make it more smooth and is usually used to enhance the aesthetics of the movement. Jewels also enhance performance and create a surface harder than metal so that repeated friction caused by pivots does not cause damage to the movement.

A Glyphmaster can provide glyphs that can enhance the appearance of your shields and weapons. Trinkets

Trinkets can be used to give your character a variety of small, but valuable advantages. They are available in the starting area as rewards for personal stories or loot. They can also be obtained from vendors and by doing road interaction. They may also be crafted by jewelers, and then found or purchased on the Trading Post.

The first trinket a player unlocks will be the cloak, which gives an unimportant but beneficial boost to movement speed and evasion. The player will then be able to acquire necklaces, amulets, and rings in a similar fashion as they did with weapons and armor. Each piece of equipment has a slot for an upgrade which can be universal or jewel. Universal upgrades offer fewer benefits and can be put into any type of equipment, while jewelry cannot be changed or upgraded and is only compatible with certain types of trinkets.

These trinkets also grant additional buffs and skills that remain active even when the character is not fighting. This lets a hero be more efficient while inactive. As a rule trinket upgrades should be prioritized over BiS (Best in Slot) items you won't replace soon.
