However the code will not appear on its own, without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).
Testing can be a bit difficult since there are two connector pins and they serve different purposes but the best method to test it is to measure the resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read about 1000 ohms when it is operating at its maximum. If you're having issues with this component, look for evidence of coolant or oil in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday accelerating full speed from highway paytoll, i experienced massive power loss as if the engine was running out of gas or the injectors aren't firing anymore. This morning i pull out the spark plugs. Three were soaked with gazoline and the fourth one was dry. I put tissue over each injector hole and when I start the engine without sparks, the 3 that have gazoline pop right out. The 4th one remains closed. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I got zero ohm. I'm assuming the issue is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset the PID but without success. The car is able to start if the G28 is disconnected and runs fine when it is plugged in, but still has the intermittent misfire issue at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when it is unplugged, shows a temperature of -49c. Also, audi tt replacement key i noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar, whereas the actual pressure is 0.0 if i crank up the engine.
