It removes a lot of debris on carpeted floors and does a good job of maneuvering itself, but it doesn't come as close to achieving the same performance as the iRobot Roomba i7 in regards to performance on carpeted floors. The i7 also feels more durable, is more robust and requires less maintenance. It also incurs lower recurring cost and charges more quickly and has comparable battery performance. It also comes with more advanced features for automation, like no-go zones and the ability to select specific rooms to be cleaned.

4. iRobot J7+

We did notice a couple of small niggles with the j7+, mainly that it can snag on cords and rugs, and that it doesn't always turn off its mopping when finished vacuuming. Overall, this is an excellent model that checks all the right boxes.
