It's smaller than the other models on this list, making it easier to navigate through tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery during the cleaning.

It's quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted areas extremely quickly, and the hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single sweep. Its suction motor of 8,000pa makes short work of picking up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help draw out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as good. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which is useful to get into tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be employed to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and fallen books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest best robot vacuum mop and vacuums I've used. It is quieter and doesn't produce as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It is easy to set up, and it works well. However when you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping purposes, you will need to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a variety of features.

The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This allows it to map out the home and find furniture and other obstacles. This device has a fairly expensive price tag, but it comes with a large selection of innovative features. However, it's important to keep in mind that it has regular costs, such as mopping supplies and maintenance. For instance the brushroll needs to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to twelve months. The filter is to be cleaned every 150 hours, and mop pads should be changed every three month.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop which means it is able to handle mopping and vacuuming. It has two modules: a combined dry bin and water reservoir, and a separate mopping module with a microfiber pad that snaps into and out of position. Separate modules for vacuuming and mopping might seem a bit outdated, but they do mean you don't have to think about changing disposable bags or refilling the tank with water.

Our testers discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming and mopping. Its best rated robot vacuum feature was its accurate floorplan that it uses to draw a route when cleaning. This made it easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture, rugs, and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' as well as virtual barriers that prevent certain areas from being cleaned by a mop.

We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well in removing pet hair. It was able to collect a large amount of hair that our cats shed and even got into the nooks and crannies of our stairs while other robots struggled. The noise levels of the robot were low and there were nice jingles to signal that it was in the process of getting its work done.

The app was too basic and you had to alter the modules every time you changed between vacuuming and mopping. The app doesn't have the capacity to contain multiple maps, which can be a hassle for homes with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a great choice for those who want a smart device that can vacuum and mop.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. It does however, have certain unique features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its enormous dock that doubles as the robot's charging base and the housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and a 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.

The base comes with a couple of buttons for control, which allow you to manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot cleaner, or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic hoovers vacuums, utilizes its camera to spot obstacles and furniture in its path. It will stay clear of them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognising objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni could occasionally become so entangled with an obstacle--such as a power cord draped across a rug, that it gets stuck and stops working until you manually free it. Although this is not a common occurrence however, it was a gruelling experience when it did happen and especially because the X1 Omni does not come with an "stuck" status alert on its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that the mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between uses and can cause mildew or mold.

On the bright side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome appearance in a market that is dominated by bulky boxy models.
