The Joie Roomie Glide crib is a bedside crib which allows parents to rest with their infant while ensuring that they are sleeping safely. The smooth gliding motion of the Joie Roomie Glide will help soothe your baby to sleep and its ingenious features allow you to keep an eye on your child without leaving bed.

The side panel that slides out of the cot can be raised and lowered with a simple pressing of a button. This makes it simple to reach inside and soothe a baby in the night. It comes with 11 height adjustments that can be adjusted to fit almost any mattress size and adjustable folding feet to ensure that it sits exactly at the right level.

In terms of safety, the cot is padded and fitted with mesh sides to provide more airflow, and the mattress is made from high-density foam for extra protection. It is also wipeable which means you can keep the crib clean. It is fitted with a bed sheet that can be used for the crib.

Contrary to other cribs that are bedside like the Roomie Glide is suitable for all beds, including divans due to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a stand-alone crib when not attached to the bed. It's full of amazing features designed with parent-baby bonding in mind.

It is crucial to keep in mind that this crib will not last as long as when your baby turns six months. You will need to buy a bigger crib. However, overall Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide was a excellent purchase and she was particularly impressed by its sleek design.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase at John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna thought was an affordable cost for a cot that has such innovative features. She liked the way it was positioned in her bedroom, and thought its grey color would fit the majority of modern homes. She also mentioned that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby when it's younger as it can cause an unhealthy sleep pattern that can be difficult to overcome later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to ensure the best bedside cot (cool training) sleep possible. It comes with a drop-side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your child at night without disturbing them or getting out of bed. This is perfect for breastfeeding mothers! It's also light and easy to move around during nap time or when traveling.

It's made from soft materials and features mesh sides that are breathable to help promote airflow. It's available in oak and charcoal and has a variety of melange fabrics that are compatible with all decor styles. Anna discovered that it was sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs snapped into place and the zippers were secure for safety. It took her about 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support contact number should you have any issues.

Alongside the usual features you'd expect from a crib for your bed that include the ability to connect to your bed using a stay-in place connection system and six height levels, the CoZee has an additional incline option which can be used to help alleviate reflux or congestion in infants. It's also machine washable, a must for all the dribbles and vomit that come with having a newborn!

If you're looking to keep your baby close to you during the first six months when they're able to go to sleep on their own and independently, the CoZee is a fantastic option as it can also be used as a stand-alone cot, changing table and toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension kit, it can transform into an cot. It isn't able to feed your baby, or magically put them to sleep it will rock them and send them off!

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco's more expensive models, but it has a wide array of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib and is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It features a brand new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel. It's easy to operate, even for one-handed operation. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings and legs that retract to place under any bed.

Our testers appreciated the ease of access offered by the side panel which can be moved upwards and downwards with just one click of a button. This was especially helpful at night, as they could reach in and pick their baby up without waking them up.

The side panel can be lifted on its own however it isn't recommended since it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism means that it will only stay down when attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This feature can be very beneficial for peace of mind if you are breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases or beds with drawers. It comes with a tilting function for reflux babies, and the ability to rock to soothe them to sleep after eating. It's also very large and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers despite the lengthy instruction manual. It's heavier than other side-sleepers, however it's quite mobile and can be moved from room room with ease. It's also small enough to fit into its travel bag when not in use, which is a bonus in the event that you have to transport it. The only downside our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex as much as some of the other models, which made it a little harder to observe your child from your own bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is an excellent choice for a crib that can grow with your child. It's a crib for co-sleeping that can be attached securely to your bed and can be converted into a stylish cot when your baby is old enough. Perfect for nighttime feedings and strengthening the bond between you and your new born.

Unlike some other models of bedside crib co sleeper crib, the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. The mesh side panels with dual-view as well as the airflow mattress that is hypoallergenic and breathable maximize airflow and keep your baby comfortable and cool. A gentle incline option helps to reduce colic and reflux and colic, while the zip-down side allows you to feed or soothe your baby during the night.

The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you need to start. It took us about an hour to assemble, and was relatively simple. The only downside to the instructions was that a few pictures did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. Overall, the process was easy and the materials used were of top quality.

In the co-sleeping position, we found the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent option for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a c-section as it allows them to comfortably reach out to their infant for comfort and feeding without having to get up from their own bed. It's a great option for parents who don't want the stress of putting their child in a traditional cot, or even getting them out of it.

In our tests, we found the gliding motion of the next-to-me crib to be especially helpful when it comes to helping babies fall asleep after feedings at midday and in the evening. The drop-down sides make it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night. This was a major selling point for our exhausted test mums. Although it doesn't rock, or come with extra features such as an audio system, the Joie Roomie Glide's sleek design and functional features make it a great addition to our best bedside cots for newborns crib reviews.
