The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

This is the model you should select if you're looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.

It is very quick and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, and hallways with just one pass. The suction motor's 8,000pa makes short work of picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs, and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by much. The mop rotates at a high velocity and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out a bit more than other robots, which is useful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to sweep larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys or books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't create as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to install and works well. However should you purchase this robot autonomous vacuum to mop you must be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Matrix Plus is a good option for those looking for an intelligent robot that can perform both vacuuming and mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robotic vacuum that is able to mop in our review, however it also has distinctive features that are worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its massive dock that serves as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and a 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The base also has a number of control buttons that let you manually start a cleaning job and then recall the robot or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Press two of the buttons to switch on the child lock which is a great touch for parents worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni will sometimes get so entangled with an obstruction, such as the power cord that is draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you manually free it. This was a rare incident however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert in its app.

Another possible issue is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during cleaning. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad however, mopping pads don't get cleaned or dried between use. This can lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a major change from the utilitarian all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing sight in a space which is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
